Basic MR Acquisition: Learning How To Navigate Through k-Space
Weekend Course
Image Acquisition & Analysis
Saturday, 09 May 2026
Auditorium 1
13:00 - 17:00
Moderators: Rupsa Bhattacharjee & Aaron Hess
No CME/CE Credit
This session will introduce different strategies for sampling k-space and to accelerate spatial encoding in MR. After covering the simplest Cartesian approach, echo planar imaging and non-Cartesian sampling schemes will be presented. The advantages of the various strategies and current challenges in translating their use to clinical practice will be discussed.
