This MRI education course explores the critical role of MRI in combating infectious diseases across Africa. It begins with an overview of prevalent infections such as malaria, HIV, TB, and parasitic diseases. Subsequent talks cover neuroimaging, cardiac and pulmonary imaging, and abdominal and pelvic MRI, highlighting clinical contexts, imaging techniques, diagnostic findings, and regional challenges. After a short break, the course continues with sessions on musculoskeletal infections, pediatric applications, and fetal imaging, as well as addressing infections like Zika.
