This MRI education course explores the critical role of MRI in combating infectious diseases across Africa. It begins with an overview of prevalent infections such as malaria, HIV, TB, and parasitic diseases. Subsequent talks cover imaging findings in pediatrics and cardiac and pulmonary imaging, highlighting clinical contexts, imaging techniques, diagnostic findings, and regional challenges. After a short break, the course continues with sessions on neuroimaging in the setting of infectious diseases, musculoskeletal infections, and abdominal and pelvic imaging.
