Generative and foundational AI models are rapidly transforming MRI reconstruction, offering new opportunities to improve image quality, reduce scan time, and increase access to high-quality imaging across diverse clinical environments. This session will provide an overview of recent technical advances in the field and their potential for global deployment in under-resourced settings. It will offer practical guidelines on how to implement both basic and more advanced approaches, including diffusion and large vision models, for use in advanced MRI reconstruction.
