Perfusion and Ischemia in the Musculoskeletal System
Weekday Course
Musculoskeletal
Tuesday, 12 May 2026
Meeting Room 1.60
08:20 - 10:10
Moderators: Susanne Rauh & Mikko Nissi
No CME/CE Credit
Regulation of blood flow within the musculoskeletal system is a tightly controlled and dynamically mediated process, essential for maintaining tissue health and function. This educational session highlights the role of advanced MRI techniques in noninvasively assessing perfusion and impacts of ischemia across the musculoskeletal system. Attendees will learn how MRI can provide critical information about vascular integrity, tissue viability, and pathophysiologic changes in both acute injuries and chronic conditions.
