MRI in Clinical Practice: Diagnosis of Granulomatous Prostatitis
Impact: Prostate MRI enabled confident diagnosis of granulomatous prostatitis in a patient with elevated PSA and prior BCG therapy for bladder cancer. Imaging combined with clinical history helped avoid biopsy, guiding non-invasive management and reducing unnecessary procedures and risks.

MRI in Clinical Practice: Differentiating IgG4-related sclerosing cholangitis from cholangiocarcinoma
Impact: MRI plays a pivotal role in the diagnosis of IgG4-SC. Via multi-sequence imaging, it clearly delineates the signal characteristics of intrahepatic masses. [1]This facilitates accurate clinical decision-making, obviates unnecessary surgical trauma, and ultimately significantly improves clinical prognosis.

MRI in Clinical Practice: Diagnosis of Intraductal Papilloma of the Breast
Impact: MRI provided a noninvasive assessment of intraductal papilloma with precise localization and extent delineation, enabling prediction of malignancy through TIC and ADC features, and guiding surgical excision more accurately than conventional ductography or breast sonography.

MR Lymphangiography–Based Classification of Lymphatic Plastic Bronchitis and Its Complementarity with CT Lymphangiography
Impact: MR lymphangiography enables reproducible classification of lymphatic plastic bronchitis and correlates with CT lymphangiography findings, providing a comprehensive framework for disease stratification, individualized therapy, and noninvasive follow-up.

MRI in Clinical Practice: Diagnosis of Pulmonary Embolism at 0.55 T
Impact: Mid-field 0.55T MR scanners, combined with contrast-free, free-breathing MRA sequences, may offer a radiation-free and iodine-free alternative to CT for detecting PE in patients for whom CT is unsuitable.

Online Adaptive MRI-guided Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy for Spinal Tumors
Impact: To assess the efficiency of online adaptive MRI-guided SBRT for spine tumors using the Unity® system with sufficient contrast on MR images among the tumor, thecal sac, true code and spinal column, along with clear visualization of the target lesion.

Diffusion Tensor Imaging of the Femoral Physis – reproducibility and biological correlates
Impact: FA provides the most reliable DTI marker of growth-plate structure, whereas 30-direction acquisitions enhance detection of biologically meaningful age- and height-related differences. Balancing angular resolution and signal averaging is critical for quantitative, clinically relevant diffusion imaging of the physis.

Mp2rage-based quantitative MRI enhances volumetric and relaxometric assessment in pediatric mitochondrial cytopathies.
Impact: Quantitative MRI using MP2RAGE may improve radiologic assessment of pediatric mitochondrial cytopathies by revealing subtle tissue alterations not visible on conventional imaging. Its volumetric and relaxometric metrics could support objective follow-up and contribute to more standardized evaluation of neuro-metabolic diseases.

MRI in Clinical Practice: In vivo Multiparametric Mapping of Microstructural Changes in Parkinson’s Disease
Impact: Multiparametric mapping (MPM) allows in vivo investigation of microstructural alterations in Parkinson's disease, deriving biologically and clinically meaningful markers of microstructural integrity. MPM supports the development of improved diagnostic and patient stratification tools, as well as personalized therapeutic interventions.

MRI in clinical Practice: Diagnosis of Atypical Sino-Nasal Ewing’s Sarcoma in Pediatrics. A multidisciplinary approach.
Impact: Multidisciplinary approach enabled timely, accurate diagnosis of aggressive pediatric Sinonasal Ewing's sarcoma, improving prognosis. MRI accurately demonstrated superior soft-tissue signal characteristics, tumoral infiltration , intracranial extension and orbital invasion. Differential diagnosis of Ewing’s Sarcoma was confirmed by histology and immunohistochemistry.

COMPARISON OF ORADS ULTRASOUND AND ORADS MRI REPORTING SYSTEMS IN EVALUATION OF ADNEXAL LESIONS”
Impact: ORADS MRI is an excellent tool in problem solving and in all cases suspicious of malignancy in the adnexa, compared to ORADS ultrasound, which is more widely used and should replace ultrasound as a routine diagnostic tool

Improved Whole Body Oncologic Screening and Staging with Uniform Fat Suppression Warp-STIR T2-TSE sequence
Impact: Warp-STIR delivers uniform fat suppression across large FOV at 3T, increasing lesion detection by 15% and reader confidence despite minor SNR/CNR loss. Oncologic radiologists and whole-body MRI programs gain more reliable T2-weighted screening/staging, reducing misinterpretation from B0/B1 inhomogeneity.
